Joint Coast Labor Relations Committee Agrees to Revised Travel Restrictions
Attention Members:
The Joint Coast Labor Relations Committee has agreed to revised Industry Travel Restrictions. Essentially, the new agreement means that Marine Clerks and Longshoremen may now travel within their respective areas (for Southern California Marine Clerks and Longshoremen, for example, that means travel is now authorized between the Ports of Los Angeles/Long Beach, Port Hueneme, and San Diego, but NOT yet authorized to Northern California, Washington/Puget Sound, and Oregon/Columbia River).

ILWU Local 63 President interviewed for CNBC news piece on current supply chain issues
ILWU Local 63 President Mike Podue’s 20-minute interview on CNBC got chopped to 20 seconds, but he made sure to set the record straight. The ILWU workforce is not to be blamed for “worker shortages.” We are working!
Overall, a good educational piece for the public on supply chain logistics.
