LA County Mandatory Quarantine Directive re: Non-Essential Travel

Attention Members:

In furtherance of California’s Travel Advisory, the Los Angeles County Health Officer has instituted a mandatory 10-day quarantine directive for those traveling into Los Angeles County from outside Southern California on non-essential travel.  This Directive applies to residents and non-residents.  Exceptions are listed in Section 3 of the Directive. Please review the attached Directive below.

Request for Expedited COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution

Attention Members:

The ILWU, PMA, and West Coast Ports have written a letter to the Governors of California, Washington, and Oregon, requesting that the government give ILWU workers prioritized access and appropriate consideration when it comes to upcoming COVID-19 testing and vaccinations. In further support, LA City Councilman Joe Buscaino wrote a Resolution and presented it to the Los Angeles City Council today, December 15.  Both, the Letter and the Resolution may be viewed by clicking below.
