Attention Members:

Please be aware that starting today, PMA has begun sending out notification letters to members scheduling them for online General Safety Training (GST) and California Sexual Harassment Prevention Training classes.  During this online Pilot Program, you will have the option of completing the courses online or via an app that you will download.   Also, for members that do not a smart phone or computer, you will have the option to schedule in-person training classes.    Once members have completed both courses, a notification will be sent to PMA and you will be paid for completing these courses.

RETURN TO 2ND SHIFT REGULAR START TIMES

The Joint Longshore Labor Relations Committee in Los Angeles-Long Beach has agreed that effective with the 2nd shift, Saturday March 6, 2021, work in the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach will return to 6:00 pm. start times as outlined in Section 2.41 of the PCL&CA and Section 2.2 of the PCWB&FA.

NIGHTSIDE DISPATCH TIMES

Please note that for nightside dispatch, Redline and Double Back will be changed from 5:00 pm back to 4:00 p.m.   All other dispatch times will remain the same.

In furtherance of California’s Travel Advisory, the Los Angeles County Health Officer has instituted a mandatory 10-day quarantine directive for those traveling into Los Angeles County from outside Southern California on non-essential travel.  This Directive applies to residents and non-residents.  Exceptions are listed in Section 3 of the Directive. Please review the attached Directive below.
