Special Bulletin – PCCCD Section 8.34
Attention Members:
Please be advised that PMA has notified the Union that they will resume enforcement of Section 8.34 of the PCCCD, which requires clerks to work at least one day a month, beginning June 1, 2023 (see attached PMA Bulletin). If you have any questions, please contact an officer.

APL VISITS LOCAL 63
On April 20th, APL dropped by the Local 63 Business Office to show their appreciation for the work of the Marine Clerks. They were especially appreciative of our work keeping cargo moving during the pandemic. As a token of appreciation, they dropped off a small replica of the APL President Kennedy, which fits nicely in the Local 63 Executive Board Room.

Scholarships Opportunity
As stated in the Local 63 May 2023 Bulletin:
2023 PROPELLER CLUB SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION IS OPEN – The Propeller Club of Los Angeles/Long Beach is offering scholarships ranging from $250 to $1,000 to graduating high school seniors. This scholarship is open to high school seniors currently attending schools located in the cities of Long Beach, Lakewood, San Pedro, Wilmington, or Carson and to students of all intended majors.
