Please see below “Call to Action” request from the ILWU International in support of the ILWU Local 12 (North Bend, Oregon) area standards picket line in support of fair wages and benefits in their region.

CALL TO ACTION:

As some of you are aware, ILWU Local 12 put up an area standards picket last week to protest Oregon Pellet Mills’ substandard area economic practice. During the 5-day picket, over 300 supporters stood with ILWU Local 12 in their fight to maintain fair wages and benefits for the region.

The Congressional Labor Caucus voiced their support for ILWU Local 12 workers in their fight to preserve area wage and benefit standards and recently posted a message of support to the Caucus’ social media channels (Twitter, Bluesky, Facebook and Threads) which can be found here:
