California Democratic Party Elections – ILWU-Endorsed Candidate

The California Democratic Party is holding their ADEM Elections and the individuals listed below have been endorsed by ILWU Locals 13, 63, 94, Pensioners and SCDC.  To vote in this election you must be a registered Democrat and live in the respective cities.  To get your vote by mail ballot please REGISTER by January 11, 2020 using this link:  https://www.ademelections.com/

Request for Expedited COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution

Attention Members:

The ILWU, PMA, and West Coast Ports have written a letter to the Governors of California, Washington, and Oregon, requesting that the government give ILWU workers prioritized access and appropriate consideration when it comes to upcoming COVID-19 testing and vaccinations. In further support, LA City Councilman Joe Buscaino wrote a Resolution and presented it to the Los Angeles City Council today, December 15.  Both, the Letter and the Resolution may be viewed by clicking below.

City of Los Angeles Mobile Pop-Up COVID-19 Testing Locations

Attention Members, in an effort to control and reduce the spread of COVID-19, the LA Mayor’s Office is implementing Mobile Pop-Up COVID-19 Testing sites. Please see info below for details, including dates and links to sign-up for testing, although no appointment is necessary.

MOBILE POP-UP COVID-19 TESTING LOCATIONS

The Los Angeles City Mobile Testing Group is bringing COVID-19 testing to communities throughout the City for people who are unable to drive to a testing site.

Testing is walk up only. No appointment is necessary, but you can register in advance at the links below.

Please be sure to bring your insurance information.

If you don’t have insurance, bring your Driver’s License or another form of identification.

There is no cost to patients for any test, whether or not you have insurance.
